BizHosting are scheduling a software upgrade of the System Software that runs the server on which your account is hosted.
This upgrade is scheduled for this weekend, 28-29 June 2025, since it is expected that there will be much lower business usage over the weekend. There will be testing of the conversion process beforehand, which should not have any noticeable effect on your service. The upgrade is expected to take up to two hours. Plesk services, hosted websites, and emails will be unavailable during the conversion procedure for about 30 to 60 minutes. If we are unable to complete the procedure, the upgrade will be rescheduled to the weekend of 5-6 July 2025.
While there will be a full server backup taken immediately before the upgrade, we do recommend that, for your own peace of mind, you take this opportunity to check your own backup and restore procedures (you do have your own backups, yes?).
In the unlikely event that the upgrade is unsuccessful and we have to roll back the upgrade by restoring from the full server backup, there is a possibility that any emails received during the upgrade period may not be recoverable.
