BizHosting are scheduling a software upgrade of the Database Software that supports the server on which your account is hosted.
This upgrade is scheduled for this weekend, 30-31 August 2025, since it is expected that there will be much lower business usage over the weekend. The upgrade is expected to take up to 30 minutes. Plesk services, hosted websites, and emails may be unavailable during the conversion procedure. If we are unable to complete the procedure, the upgrade will be rescheduled to the following weekend.
While there will be a full server backup taken immediately before the upgrade, we do recommend that, for your own peace of mind, you take this opportunity to check your own backup and restore procedures (you do have your own backups, yes?).
In the unlikely event that the upgrade is unsuccessful and we have to roll back the upgrade by restoring from the full server backup, there is a possibility that any emails received during the upgrade period may not be recoverable.
